The Brooklyn Bridge is beautiful, but the utilitarian Williamsburg Bridge is my favorite bridge to walk over. It's all muscle and no nonsense. Trains go over it. It has separate sections for cyclists and pedestrians. We walked over it to have dinner and see a movie. We ended up having a lame dinner and saw no movie. But the journey was amazing. Just look at the Madonna nesting dolls I spotted in the window of a coffee shop (below!).
